Savannah Economic Development Authority

Regional economic development authority required assistance in developing requirements for a new website design including a content management system, unique property search application and improvements to search engine optimization to assist in regional branding and outreach efforts to attract and grow local businesses.


Summary:

The site’s front-end design was difficult to navigate and did not represent the area or recent successes. Key functions such as available commercial and industrial property availability were not online and took extensive staff time to update and maintain. Our project management lead was brought in to assess the organization’s web technology needs, create a request for proposal and to manage the RFP process through to vendor finalists and vendor selection. We were then retained by the organization to manage the selected vendor through to a successful site implementation, which included a custom content management system implementation along with two design agencies. Project manager worked with the internal and vendor teams to coordinate all aspects of the website redesign and launch.
